FT230X - Full Speed USB to Basic UART, FTDI Chip
The FTDI Chip FT230X is a USB to a basic serial UART interface device which simplifies USB implementations. It has a fully integrated MTP memory and an integrated clock circuit which requires no external crystal which helps to reduce external component count. Operates efficiently with USB host controllers and uses as little bandwidth as possible. Capable of operating up to 3 MBaud, with low power consumption (8 mA). The FT230X includes the complete FT-X series feature set and enables USB to be added into a system design quickly and easily over a UART interface.
