TE Connectivity AdvancedTCA Zone 1 Power Connector

AdvancedTCA Zone 1 power connector designed to PICMG 3.0 standard for use in Zone 1 applications. This right angle ATCA Zone 1 plug connector has 8 high conductivity copper alloy size 16 power contacts capable of carrying 20 A per contact and 22 copper alloy signal contacts that are capable of carrying 2 A. These contacts have eye of the needle compliant press-fit solderless terminations allowing easy connection to the PCB. The contact retention of this ATCA Zone 1 plug connector eliminates the need for additional hardware to secure the connector to the PCB and the housing has a lead in design for the contact cavities which provides better resistance from contact stubbing.
