Tinned copper conductors. Overall Beldfoil® 100% shield coverage. Halar™-insulated, twisted pairs. Natural Flamearrest® jacket, 0.015" thickness except Type 82761 which is 0.022" thick. Listed for use in an air plenum non-conduit. NEC Article 800, Type CMP and CSA PCC FT4/FT6 rated, UL listed.
Allow balanced signal transmission, which results in lower crosstalk through common mode rejection. Due to the improved noise immunity of twisted pairs, they generally permit higher data speeds than multi-conductor cables.
