Character LCD displays:
Also known as alphanumeric displays can display any letter (capitals and lower case), numbers, and punctuation marks. Displays can be manufactured with additional font tables to display information in a variety of languages. Character modules contain a built in controller and character table for easy of programing.

? Standard LCD interfaces include parallel and SPI. All character displays have the option of a high brightness LED backlight in the customer’s choice of colors.
? Displays with Light Emitting Diode backlights are readable in the dark and are excellent as a sunlight readable display
? Standard character LCD configurations include: 8x1, 8x2, and 16x1, 16x2, 20x2, 40x2, 40x4
? FocusLCDs offers a wide variety of TN (Twisted Nematic), STN (Super Twisted Nematic) and FSTN (Film Super Twisted Nematic) fluids
? All character displays are available in Transflective, Transmissive or Reflective polarizers
? Touch screens, heaters and cables can be integrated into the display
? FocusLCD is able to work with the customer on custom displays through Allied Electronics
