This Processor Extension Pak is optional for debugging the following devices and is intended for those who wish to debug the PIC16F753 family of microcontrollers in-circuit, while freeing up I/O pins typically reserved for debugger use:

The included SIL adapter interfaces the Processor extension Pak with the MPLAB REAL ICE and MPLAB ICD 3 tools. The main product will interface directly with the PICkit 3 without the use of the SIL adapter.
