The Opto 22 Energy Monitoring Unit (OptoEMU1) is a complete package of hardware and software that lets you monitor energy usage for a 3-phase electrical device—such as an air conditioning and heating unit, pump, machine, or engine—so you can anticipate energy bills and respond quickly when energy use rises unexpectedly.

Hardware includes a SNAP PAC rack-mounted controller and a SNAP-AIPM-3 analog input module, with a power supply, encased in a sturdy NEMA Type 4X polycarbonate enclosure.

Software includes a pre-built and pre-loaded PAC Control strategy and a PAC Display HMI ready to be installed on a PC on the same Ethernet network as the hardware unit. The HMI provides real-time and historical data on energy usage.
The OptoEMU1 is designed to be used as is or expanded to monitor and control other devices as well.
