The PCU Controller accepts either 0 to 10 VDC or a 0 to 20 mA DC input signal, precisely scales the process signal according to programmable scaling points, and provides accurate output control signal (time proportional, linear, or valve position) to maintain a process at the desired control point. Other characteristics include:
100 msec sampling period with 0.15% accuracy
On demand auto-tuning of PID control settings
Dual LED displays for simultaneous indication of process value and setpoint or second analog input
Self-diagnostics
Full PID control with reduced overshoot
